  • Originally used to drive cattle from Webster Park, north of the Wigwam Trailhead, over into Lost Park, the trail accesses the east side of the Lost Creek Wilderness by following the Wigwam Creek drainage up to an open meadow called Wigwam Park and on to a saddle at the end of the valley. Lake Trout, It does not apply to indoor or outdoor shooting ranges, target shooting, law enforcement activitiesor the discharge of firearms, crossbows or bows for any non-hunting purpose., All watercraft operators must observe the boating laws of the State of Michigan. Hunting of ducks, geese and wild animals is prohibited on or around Lake Manitou by use of firearms, archery or crossbow. Open fires are prohibited in the wilderness area. Black Crappie, The trail enters into a system of 115 miles of motorcycle and ATV trails in the Rampart Range area. The number of other non-skiing watercraft allowed to simultaneously operate on the lake is unlimited. These endangered birds need all the assistance we can provide. The regulations listed here may not reflect the exact species found in the lake or flowage. The trail winds north and eventually ends in Wigwam Park at a junction with the Wigwam Trail.
